I am not sure how it is in other states but in California you have to raise your right hand and take the oath of office, in that oath you swear or affirm to the best of your ability, preserve, protect and defend the constitution of the United States and the laws of the United States so help me god. Is there a conflict for JW's on this? JW do not serve in public offices, a notary by law is a public office, due to the fact that you swear to protect and defend the constitution you are saying that you are allies with the United States. What is your opinion on this?

she goes into graphic details of the abuse, i admit the first couple of chapters hooked me in, but her story got more and more hard to believe about satanic rituals, killing babies in empty churches at night.

I later did some research about the author after I read Satan's Underground and found out she was exposed as a fraud, by some christian magazine, and she even wrote another book claiming to be a concentration camp survior, and another book on recalled memory about sexual abuse. The fact is she was adopted by a normal family and suffered some mental problems and her adopted family was hurt by her claims of sexual abuse and satanic worship.

by fifi40 inmy ex is a jw (as previously mentioned) and is against our son going to see the new movie, despite admitting that he has witness friends who will happily go and see it........oh and he also has witness friends that would dob their brother into the elders for going to see it.. i have just had a bit of a heated debate about it with him (our son is 14, nearly 15) and i just wondered if any of you have good sound reasoning for what is a 'matter of conscience' for these brainwashedd poo brains!!!!!.
